Small Group UPG Adoption
A Small Group UPG Adoption is designed for small groups within a congregation, business, or a community who desire to engage in world missions. As a small group adopter, your group will be personally involved in the Great Commission. Your commitment to pray and financially support a target unreached people group results in national missionaries being sent, churches being planted, and the unreached hearing the gospel for the very first time!
We have created 2 levels of adoption so that you can choose an adoption commitment that fits your group. As you read through the adoption levels, if you have any questions please feel free to contact one of our experienced coaches who can help you and your small group decide the best fit for you!
How Does it Work?
A Small Group adoption allows individuals to pool their resources to equal the financial commitment for the desired adoption level. This can be split between 2 or 3 individuals or as many as 20-30 people. A designated Small Group Representitive will be the main contact between the small group and the AIMS Coach. The Coach will speak with the small group representative about adoption level options, UPG selection, and any questions the small group may have.
There are two ways the Small Group adoption can work:
- The small group representative collects the funds for the adoption commitment. Once all the funds are collected (can happen on a monthly or annual basis), the representative then sends the adoption commitment amount to AIMS via check or an online payment. This is the best option for large groups with individuals giving less than $30 each on a monthly basis.
- The small group has a video or phone meeting with an AIMS coach prior to any member submitting funds. The coach can then assist each person in setting up their individual giving accounts so that the funds can be pooled together and designated for the correct UPG.
