aims.org is a global non-profit organization committed to

bringing the gospel to every unreached people group.

the vision

To see sustained, indigenous movements of
disciples making disciples,
churches planting churches,
and the Kingdom of God coming in its full expression
among every unreached people group.

the approach

train

To finish the Great Commission, we must get the gospel to every people group (Matthew 24:14), so we train believers world-wide to effectively target and reach Unreached People Groups.

AIMS has trained more than 150,000 leaders.

send

We deploy indigenous missionaries to preach the gospel and plant churches among Unreached People Groups in their home countries, at a fraction of the cost of traditional mission models.

AIMS has deployed 1500+ missionaries in more than 40 countries.

sustain

We empower native missionaries to be financially sustained by helping them launch holistic projects that meet the needs of targeted Unreached People Groups and provide funding for long-term mission movements without outside assistance.

Current projects include goat-rearing, catfish farms, barber shops, recycling businesses, sewing centers, bee-keeping, chicken farms, and more!

connect

We connect our partners to the work of missions through detailed updates highlighting salvations, baptisms, new churches, and personal stories from around the world.

No more feeling disconnected to the work of missions.

what makes aims unique

laser-focused on the unreached

While more than 95% of missions resources target areas already exposed to the gospel, AIMS prioritizes reaching the 7,000+ Unreached People Groups who have yet to hear the name of Jesus.

Breaking the Cycle of Financial Dependency in Missions

AIMS empowers local missionaries to achieve financial independence through Holistic Sustainability Projects that create jobs, fight poverty, provide access to hard-to-reach communities, and support ongoing ministry efforts.

proven impact

In just a few years, AIMS missionaries have played a key role in seeing 12 ethnic groups move from unreached to reached! With your support, we can keep advancing the gospel to the world’s most unreached people.

Missions at a fraction
of the cost

AIMS is committed to stewarding every dollar with care. By partnering with indigenous teams, we reduce overhead costs, ensuring that nearly every dollar you contribute goes directly to supporting missionaries and holistic projects. Operational expenses are covered by private donors, maximizing the impact of your giving.

indigenous leadership

AIMS is a global team of 1,000+ near-culture missionaries across 40+ countries who preach the gospel and plant churches among unreached people. Our teams are supported by four regional offices staffed by local leaders with deep cultural understanding of their regions.

advanced tracking system

Our cutting-edge web system uniquely positions AIMS to track the gospel movement among UPGs, monitoring key metrics like salvations, baptisms, new churches, and sustainability initiatives, while providing real-time field reports for our partners. This system also fosters collaboration among missions organizations, ensuring every UPG has a dedicated gospel messenger.

the beginning

"AIMS started when I looked out that plane window."

founded by dr. howard foltz in 1985

In 1985, Dr. Howard Foltz and his wife Pat founded AIMS.ORG (previously called Accelerating International Mission Strategies), with the purpose of challenging and mobilizing churches to take the gospel where it has never been proclaimed.  AIMS has trained over 170,000 pastors and leaders worldwide to engage in cross-cultural ministry and church-planting movements among the world’s least reached people groups. Since 1985, more than 51,000 churches have been planted by the national partners AIMS has trained. As a result, an estimated 34.3 million people have heard the gospel and approximately 3.1 million people have found Christ.

partner ministries

An AIMS partnership is a synergistic and mutually beneficial relationship between AIMS and another entity for the purpose of reaching unreached people groups with the gospel of Jesus Christ beyond the capacity of either partner individually.

Our definition is based on three things:

  1. A common mission to reach Unreached People Groups with the gospel.  This is the only purpose for which we will enter into partnerships.

  2. A synergistic relationship. Both parties create a greater contribution together than they would independently.

  3. Mutual benefit. We recognize that we need one another to accomplish the mission.

These are some of the domestic partner ministries of AIMS who actively contribute towards the vision of reaching Unreached People Groups with the gospel.  Together,  we are witnessing a move of God on multiple continents!
