AIMS Strategic Missions Internship

This Internship is an intensive three-month program designed to deepen spiritual formation while equipping interns to engage in missions strategically, with the goal of reaching unreached people groups with the message of Jesus. Interns grow in leadership, discipleship, and cross-cultural understanding while actively supporting national missionaries.

Interns also develop a strong work ethic through part-time job placements with kingdom-minded business leaders, receive Bible classes and ministry training, and experience personal growth and stretching while living in group housing with other interns.

Hands-On-Ministry
‍Serving in all areas of AIMS, including mobilization, administration, media, donor care, operations, and events.
Part-Time Job in a Kingdom Business
‍Work with Christian business leaders to develop an excellent work ethic while earning funds to help cover the international trip.
Ministry Classes
‍Spiritual formation, missions theology, and developing strategic plans to reach unreached people groups.
Group Housing
‍Community living that breeds unity, growth, and intentional discipleship.
International Trip
‍A two-week trip serving at an AIMS Regional Mobilization Center, gaining firsthand cross-cultural ministry experience.

Take the CVI
‍All applicants will complete a Core Values Index (CVI) assessment.Once you’re done, email your results to bevin.bold@aims.org
Resume or Reference (Optional, but Helpful!)
‍If you have a resume, feel free to send it in. You can also submit a short reference letter from a pastor, mentor, teacher, or supervisor.
Application Review
‍Our leadership team will review your application and CVI results. If it’s a good fit, we’ll reach out to schedule an interview.
Interview
‍You’ll meet with us for a 30–45 minute conversation (via Google Meet or in person). This is a chance for us to get to know you, your goals, your heart for missions, your availability, and how you might fit with AIMS.
Acceptance Decision
‍After interviews, our team will pray, review, and make final decisions.You’ll hear from us either way within a set timeframe. If accepted, you'll receive details about next steps.
Intern Commitment Form
‍Accepted interns will sign a simple Intern Agreement that covers expectations, learning goals, communication, and confidentiality.
Orientation/Onboarding
‍Before you start, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know.
Mentorship & Growth
‍You won’t be doing this alone. Each intern is paired with a mentor or supervisor and supported with check-ins along the way, plus a final reflection to help you grow and take what you’ve learned into what’s next.
